General:

The Project Manager will estimate the projects as well as oversee all aspects of the projects including material take offs, labor, sub contractors, and safe on-time completion that is under budget. The Project Manager will work closely with the Service Coordinator and Operations Manager daily

Work Responsibilities:

  • Estimate and manage the installation of HVAC and Plumbing that meet code requirements, budget and on-time installations;
  • Create and supervise project schedules;
  • Estimate and set-up job costs with labor, material and sub-contractors;
  • Build and maintain strong customer relations with general contractor, sub-contractors, vendors and internal customers;
  • Be on the job daily and able to help and supervise the work crew;
  • Continually update and change orders and approval before starting new changes on-site;
  • Responsible for creating Work Orders and Purchase Orders daily on the job and reporting them to the Operations Manager;
  • Responsible for updating the requisitions with percent completion on the job and submitting to Operations;
  • Serves as communication between field crew, service coordinator and operations manager.
  • Coordinates with sales to ensure all sales opportunities are supported

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager preferably in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction or equivalent experience

  • Technically strong with knowledge in HVAC, Plumbing and Refrigeration;
  • Proficient with computers
